The president of Fecafoot Samuel Eto’o in a letter circulating on social media platform’s, has ordered defense and security forces not to allow the former Fecafoot Secretary General Benjamin Didier Banlock leave the country as he has been accused of mismanaging funds and equipment belonging to the federation and is said to be subject of legal proceedings.
This comes barely few days after his resignation at the helm of fecafoot. In his resignation letter he stressed that Cameroon football is not on the right tract and will regain its greatness if great men are allowed to act.
It should be noted that this is not the first time Didier Banlock is been accused of mishandling funds. In April he was prohibited by Samuel Eto’o not to handle funds belonging to the federation. Equally, during Mbombo Njoya’s ruin he was sanctioned for mis management of funds.
Investigations have been opened and defense and security officers have since been working to ensure he doesn’t leave the country unperceived.
