Cameroonian born Flavien Kouatcha is amongst the 50 finalists in this edition of the Africa Business Heroes. This year’s competition attracted, 21000 candidates from 54 African Countries. 20percent of candidates came from Central Africa.
Cameroonian Flavien Kouatcha is an engineer by training, and a passionate farmer. From birth, he has had the anxiety to develop his country and that is gradually turning to reality.
Flavien Kouatcha Simo, runs an agricultural business that designs and manufactures aquaponic units for individuals and professionals wishing to produce large volume organic food.
The Africa Business Heroes prize competition, is a flagship philanthropic program established by the Jack Ma Foundation which supports African entrepreneurs.
50 judges will now interview the top 50 candidates who come from a variety of industries like Agriculture, Energy, Healthcare, Retail and Manufacturing.

We are looking forward to spotlighting them and giving them support they need to grow and generate a positive impact for their businesses and communities they serve”
In late August the top 20 will be announced, top 10 in October before they will go for the grand finale. This year’s slogan is “Its African Time”
