FIFA has announced that they will be compensating clubs that release their Internationals for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The over 200 million USD to be distributed,will be determined by the amount of participants a club has and how far they will progress in the tournament.
FIFA Equally stressed that any player who has been registered in a club two years prior to the world cup will be eligible for a share of the daily payout.
According to FIFA,each club will receive approximately 10,000 dollars(6 749 258,00 CFA Francs).
It is however important to note that clubs will apply via FIFA professional Football Landscape Platform.
For the 2018 tournament,416 clubs from 63 countries benefited from the programme.
