Board Chairs and Rectors in the Universities of Bertoua, Ebolowa and Garoua have been appointed by the Head of State . These Universities were created in the month of January, according to a decree signed by the Head of State.
One of the biggest surprises is the appointment of an associate prof Etoa Etoa Jean Bosco, from the Center Region as Rector of the University of Ebolowa. Before his appointment served as technical adviser to the Prime Minister, Head of Government.
He was Equally in charge of Teaching and Research Division of the Prime Ministers office. He now has the responsibility to handle issues regarding the academic staff, academic departments units and teaching.
The next is the University of Garoua to be headed by Boubakari Oumarou, before his appointment was serving as Director of legislative, and regulatory affairs. He hails from the Diamare Division of the Far North.
Finally, Prof Etoua Remy Magloire Dieudonne from the South Region, was appointed to head the University of Bertoua. Before his appointment was Director of the National Engineering School of Yaoundé, POLYTECH.
Chair Persons to head the University were equally appointed. Wongolo Bernard was appointed board chair of the University of Bertoua, He once served as governor of the south region, and CPDM permanent Head of Delegation for the East Region.
Jean Pierre Mvondo Evezo’o Board Chair of the University of Ebolowa once served as director of penal affairs in the Ministry of Justice and procureur of the appeal court for the Center Region.
Finally, Souley Daouda is the Board Chair of the University of Garoua. He is retired Secondary School Teacher, served as Inspector General in the Ministry of Secondary Education.
